In today’s crowded snack market, consumers are bombarded with options that often sacrifice health for taste or sustainability for convenience. While many “better-for-you” brands claim authenticity, few truly honor tradition or transparency in their ingredients. The challenge was to create a snack brand that could stand out as both delicious and honest—balancing artisanal craftsmanship, family heritage, and modern design while appealing to health-conscious, design-savvy shoppers in a premium retail environment.
To meet this challenge, I built FLAVO around the core values of honesty, craftsmanship, and sustainability. The brand identity emphasizes warmth and authenticity, using natural textures and a minimal design language to reflect the simplicity of its ingredients. I developed a packaging system that highlights the artisanal, quinoa-based crisps while remaining eco-friendly through kraft materials and recyclable formats. Every visual choice—from the restrained typography to the matte surface finish—was made to communicate trust, transparency, and modern sophistication. By blending tradition with a contemporary aesthetic, FLAVO positions itself as a premium yet approachable snack that earns its place in today’s health-conscious market.

FLAVO is a handcrafted snack brand built on family tradition and honest ingredients. Centered around quinoa-based crisps, the brand blends artisanal roots with a modern, minimalist identity that reflects both quality and transparency. The design system uses warm, natural textures and clean typography to balance approachability with sophistication, while the sustainable kraft packaging reinforces the brand’s commitment to eco-friendly practices. FLAVO was developed as a full branding exploration—from logo and packaging to strategy and visual storytelling—positioning it as a premium yet inviting choice for health-conscious consumers.
FLAVO was the first project where I fully embraced AI as an integral part of my design process—treating it less as a novelty and more as a creative tool, much like a painter’s brush. Through extensive trial and error, I learned how to direct AI with precision, using it to accelerate heavy-lift tasks such as generating large sets of smart object frames, building repeatable mockup systems, and automating folder organization. This not only improved my efficiency but also deepened my understanding of how a designer’s workflow impacts collaboration; clear, structured files and reusable assets make work far more valuable in a team setting.
On the visual side, I refined my ability to guide AI photo generation, achieving highly specific forms, textures, and aesthetics—whether artisanal, modern, or luxury—to match brand intent. From there, I could build refined mockups directly onto these AI-generated raw foundations, giving me greater control over storytelling and presentation. I also discovered the limitations of Photoshop scripts, which pushed me to find creative AI-based solutions that streamlined repetitive tasks. Overall, this project sharpened my ability to use AI strategically: not as a replacement for design, but as a way to expand creative range, accelerate execution, and maintain professional-level polish from concept to delivery.
