This project began as an experimental challenge: to create a product line built around a niche and unusual ingredient—scorpions. Beyond that, I also had to define a clear brand identity and maintain cohesion across multiple products. The real challenge lay in taking something so unconventional and presenting it in a way that felt elevated, intentional, and desirable.
My solution was to pursue a modern luxury aesthetic—one that didn’t shout “expensive” but instead whispered refinement through minimalism, attention to detail, and a rich sense of quality. By combining high-end design sensibilities with experimental concepts, I was able to reframe the scorpion ingredient not as a gimmick, but as a bold statement within a refined, cohesive brand experience.

I designed a full product line that included wine, salami, and cheese packaging, paired with deli-style posters to extend the branding into a retail environment. The work included physical deliverables of packaging and print mockups, allowing the project to feel tangible and immersive. The aesthetic was sleek, minimal, and modern, aligning with the feel of a boutique luxury brand—yet layered with the edge of incorporating such a provocative ingredient.
This project taught me the patience and craft required to physically create packaging by hand, from cutting and assembly to finishing details. While it remained a school project and not a real product, it gave me valuable experience in translating a conceptual idea into physical design. I also learned how to balance experimentation with brand cohesion—finding ways to unify bold concepts under a single, recognizable identity.
